For over 60 years, Sheffield Plastics has maintained a leadership position in innovation and quality production of extruded thermoplastic sheet products. Sheffield Plastics offers a broad range of MAKROLON® polycarbonate sheet products for a variety of markets, including architectural, security, transportation, industrial, sign, and recreational. Our VIVAK® co-polyester sheet materials are used extensively in point-of-purchase display applications, store fixtures, and interior signs.

Sheffield Plastics is part of the global Bayer MaterialScience organization, one of the world's largest polymer companies, with business activities focused on the manufacture of high-tech polymer materials and the development of innovative solutions for products used in many areas of daily life.

In conjunction with our partners at Bayer, Sheffield Plastics continues to expand our main product line through focused development efforts. With access to some of the world's leading experts in polymer technology and applications, our market-driven innovations have positioned the company for sustainable future growth. Sheffield Plastics is continuously seeking ecologically compatible applications for existing products, and improvements in the energy efficiency of our own production processes. Sheffield Plastics employs approximately 180 people in two facilities. As part of our ongoing commitment to the local community, we support the Berkshire United Way campaign, Boy Scout troops, schools, libraries, children's choir, and many other organizations in the surrounding area.
